A PINXTON-based financial company is linked to a theft investigation conducted by Derbyshire Police.
Officers have confirmed the company is MG Financial Services, based on Wharf Road.
Police said last week a 56-year-old man was arrested in early March and has been interviewed and released on bail while further enquiries are made.
Police say the allegations suggest money handed over by a small number of private investors has not been invested as instructed.
The company also acted as an agency for investors with Santander, one of the world’s largest banks and investment companies. These customers are not affected by the allegations.
Derbyshire Police say they have already contacted all the investors likely to be affected by the alleged offence.
