A pair of friends who caused trouble outside a kebab shop after a night of drinking had to pay out more than £400 in fines and costs.
Thanasis O’Brien, 21, of Whitewater Road, and James Scott Dawkins, 24, of Sycamore Road, both in New Ollerton, both admitted using threatening and abusive words and behaviour on Leeming Street, Mansfield, at around 1am on 4th July.
The court was told how the pair had ‘lashed out’ at two other males.
It was claimed O’Brien had been punched earlier in the night and they had then spotted the perpetrator later outside the kebab shop.
Ordering the pair to stand, the magistrate said: “This sort of behaviour is not acceptable and we do not want to see you here again.”
