Model cars stolen from Mansfield shop

Two boxes of rare model cars have been stolen from a shop in Mansfield.

They were taken from a container at the back of the shop in Wood Street sometime between 4pm on Saturday 29th March and 8am on Monday 31st March.

The items were all model cars, many in individual boxes, with the smallest car a match-box size.

Some of the more unusual items include a collection of Corgi circus vehicles, three Lipton Tea Vans with the Royal Crest and a replica of the Mercedes A Class ‘Moosetest’ which displays the wreckage of the Mercedes after it was crashed into a moose for test purposes.

Nottinghamshire Police are asking anyone who saw anything unusual in Wood Street over the weekend or who has been offered the cars for sale to get in touch by calling 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
