MANSFIELD: Medals stolen in house raid

Police are appealing for information after thieves broke into a Mansfield house and stole a number of military medals.

The incident is believed to have happened at around 3.30am in the morning of Saturday 30th November at an address in Little Carter Lane, police said.

The medals all date from the Second World War and include a Burma Star, which belonged to the home-owner’s late father-in-law.

Relatives told Chad that the thieves ransacked the address and made off with the medals.
