Mansfield man Steven Frogg in court accused of attempted murder over stabbing of boy (4)

MANSFIELD man Steven Frogg who is accused of the attempted murder of a four-year-old boy made his first appearance at Nottingham Crown Court this morning (Wednesday).

The boy was found on Frederick Street in the town suffering from stab wounds at around 1.30pm on 9th April.

Frogg (51), of Frederick Street, did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody until 30th July.

Judge Michael Stokes said a plea and case management hearing would take place on this date and any possible trial would not be before October.
