A man who sent a text message to a woman ‘within minutes’ of being bailed on a domestic violence charge against her has been given a final warning.
Michael Johnson (34) Winster Way, Mansfield, was told to not contact the female by any means after being bailed at the police station.
But Johnson admitted he quickly sent her the message asking for his possessions, including his wallet, bike and keys, as well as begging her to take him back.
Defending, Mark Stocks, said his client had tried to get his wallet, containing his bank card back before with the help of the police.
The magistrates gave him a warning, and gave him one chance to visit her address to pick up his possessions, but accompanied by police.
