The disturbance started on Noel Street at around 5.40pm on December 10, before a Ford Fiesta was smashed up in Rosemary Street and the 20-year-old man was assaulted. His injuries are not life-threatening or altering, however it is believed that most men involved were carrying weapons.

The Ford Fiesta vehicle was later found abandoned on Debdale Lane and has been seized by police.
