Langwith Junction householder robbed at knifepoint in home

Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery at a house in Langwith Junction yesterday (25th November).

At 9pm on Tuesday 25th November 2014 the occupants of a house on Burlington Avenue, Langwith Junction contacted the police to say they had been robbed.

They had answered a knock on the back door of their home and been confronted by two men who were wearing dark clothing, with their faces covered.

The men walked into the house and assaulted a man who was visiting. They demanded money and threatened the occupant with a knife before stealing cash from him.

Officers from Amber Valley CID are asking for anyone who was in the area at the time or anyone who has any information about the incident to contact them on 101, quoting incident number 669/25/11/14.
