Two men charged in connection with the biggest cannabis farm found in Kirkby in more than three decades are to appear in court next week.
Ly Quang Nguyen (19) and Nhi Van Phan (27), who are both Vietnamese, are due before Nottingham Crown Court on Monday, August 10 for a preliminary hearing.
The pair had been scheduled to appear last month but no interpreter was available at the time.
The pair, who are being held on remand, were arrested following the discovery of more than 1,500 cannabis plants in an old warehouse on Unity Road, Lowmoor Business Park.
It was estimated that the yield could have produced 130kgs of the drug with a potential street value of more than £900,000.
Speaking at the time, Insp Glenn Longden, of the Ashfield North policing team, said the discovery was the biggest he had ever known in 25 years working on the force.
