Glapwell man accused of having child porn images sent for trial

A GLAPWELL man accused of possessing pornographic pictures of children has been committed for trial at crown court.

Stephen Wholey (35) faces five charges of possessing indecent photographs of children at his home address on 7th July last year.

He is alleged to have five video clips on a mobile phone, with one clip transferred to a computer.

The images were alleged to be of varying categories of seriousness.

Wholey, of Hawthorne Avenue, Glapwell, appeared before magistrates at Chesterfield on Monday and entered no pleas to the charges.

The case was committed for trial at Derby Crown Court on 28th October.

Wholey was granted bail on condition he had no unsupervised contact with a person aged under 17.
