Forest Town suffers a spate of thefts

Police are seeking information over a spate of thefts from the Forest Town area.

Cars, garages and sheds were targeted across June.

A garage was broken into on Clipstone Drive overnight between 11th and 12th of June and a stone cutter tool was stolen.

Another garage was broken into overnight on 19th June on Beech Crescent Caravans, off Old Mill Lane. A pair of 6ft skis and boots were taken.

Across 21st and 22nd June a car that was left unlocked on Dewberry Gardens was entered and a USB memory stick and pair of sunglasses were taken.

Overnight on 22nd June, a shed on Sanderling Way was broken into after the offender removed the shed door from its hinges. A power drill was then stolen.

Finally, sometime between 28th and 29th, a car on Hambleton Rise was broken into when the thief smashed a window to steal a laptop bag filled with spanners and ratchets.
