Charity cash snatched from pub

Police are hunting a burglar who stole charity cash from a Mansfield pub.

Over £900 was taken from the King William IV pub, in Sutton Road, on Monday 30 January.

The money, which had been raised for a mental health charity, was stolen between 6.20pm and 6.30pm.The theft was discovered by the manager of the pub the next morning.

CCTV footage showed a man, thought to be white, near to the pub around the time of the theft.

Police believe the man, who was wearing a black coat with an emblem on the left arm, may be able to help them with their enquiries.
