A man has been charged with attempted murder after a man was shot at an address in Huthwaite in the early hours of Saturday (8th February).
The 29-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his leg at around 3.30am.
Daniel Butler, 30, from Nottingham, has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and was later discharged. His injury is not life-threatening.
Butler will appear at Mansfield Magistrates Court today (Wednesday 12th February).
