A MAN accused of sexually assaulting an 89-year-old woman at her Sutton home while claiming to be her doctor, has been remanded in custody for a further two weeks.

Christopher Hayball (53) made a second appearance at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday.

He had been due to make an application for bail but that was postponed until the next hearing.

Hayball, of Mansfield Road, Heath, Chesterfield, is also accused of sexually touching a 74-year-old woman in similar circumstances in Eastwood.

It is alleged the assaults took place in July and May this year after the women let him into their homes.

Mrs Justice Macur remanded Hayball until 9th December when he will be expected to enter his pleas.
