Bestwood Park man charged with manslaughter after assault led to man’s death
Police have charged a 26 year-old man with manslaughter following an assault that led to the death of an Arnold father.
Scott Humphrey, 26, of Queens Bower Road, Bestwood Park, was charged by officers after the assault which occurred at Bestwood Park Drive, Top Valley, near Bulwell at around 2am on Sunday 27th July.
Richard Rovetto, 29, of Stanhope Crescent, Arnold, sustained serious injuries in the attack and was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre where he later died.
A Home Office post-mortem examination confirmed he died from a head injury.
