PCSO Marion Jeffery of the South Normanton and Pinxton Safer neighbourhood policing team has been making enquiries in the local area.

She said: “It’s quite upsetting and can also be costly and inconvenient for people to have to arrange repairs to vehicles, so we are carrying out patrols and speaking to residents to try and find out who was responsible.

“I would ask anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious or has any information about these incidents to contact us.”

Any witnesses or anyone with information should contact Derbyshire police on 101, the non emergency number, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
