Alfreton police appeal for information after car break-in

Police in Alfreton are appealing for information after a parked car was broken into and items were stolen from the boot.

Between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on Tuesday 20th March thieves smashed the rear windscreen and three side windows on a grey Peugeot estate car parked on North Street and stole a laptop and tennis racket from the boot.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the theft.

Motorists are reminded to remove all valuable items from their vehicle when it is left unattended.
