A teenager with mental health issues who attacked a support worker with a shoe will find out his fate in July.
Matthew Luke Phillips (19) of Forest Road, Mansfield, admitted assaulting the female worker, and criminal damage after he smashed up a chair.
Appearing at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court accompanied a support worker, it was heard how the young man suffered from ADHD and ‘various other mental health issues.’
A report suggested that Phillips, who lives in supported accommodation, was fit to appear before the court, but the magistrates wanted a further psychiatric report to provide a ‘balanced view’. He will appear again on 8th July.
