Crews from four stations spent hours battling a woodland blaze in Church Warsop last night, Friday 1st May.

Around 1,000 sq m of forestry and undergrowth had gone up in flames on land to the rear of Wood Lane.

Engines from Mansfield, Warsop, Shirebrook and Staveley went to the scene shortly after 6.30pm where they spent hours bringing it under control and damping the area down.

It was thought that the fire had two starting points.
