A Mansfield councillor has dug deep and donated money to the Priory Community Council.

Coun Phil Shields handed over the cheque, written out for £300, during a recent meeting of the residents and tenants involved with the group.

The money is to be put towards the group’s planned trip to the new Holocaust Centre at Laxton, and will also help pay for speakers at meetings and games of bingo.
