Organ Society
Members met at the Parish Centre on Thursday week when Elizabeth Harrison from Lancashire gave a concert. A raffle was organised by Mrs Sue Baines and Hostesses were Mrs J. Davies, Mrs M. Pike and Mrs C. Pike.
Tuesday Club
Members met yesterday week at Woodside Hall. Hostesses were Mrs K. Betts and Mrs E. Murtagh. Table games were organised by Mrs M. Siven and Mrs J. Burton. Sweep winners were Mrs E. Murtagh and Mr S. Lunn. Whist was organised by Mrs P. Lea and the winners were Mr J. Allan and Mr D. Mytom
Bellringers
Bryn Richards, Fred Flint, Chris Richards, Philip and Andrew Richards, Adrian Hardy and Denis Smedley met in the ringing chamber of the Parish Church on Saturday week and rang for an afternoon wedding. Ringers were conducted by towercaptain Chris Richards.
Saturday Dance Club
MC at Saturday week’s meeting at Woodside Hall was Mr D. Salt. Finance was organised by Mrs J. Mallett. Refreshments were provided by Mrs Fox on of birthday and were served by Mesdames J. Woodcock, H. Pearson, V. Gibbons and H. Pavier and Messers K. Wake, R. Hill and D. Freeman.
