St Katherine’s Church

Associate Priest, the Rev Adrian Dempster, led Sunday week’s family service, accompanying singing on the keyboard. His wife, Maureen, and daughter, Morag, led children’s activities. William Boneham presented the offertory. At a later service Mr Dempster baptised Esther Pearce, Charles Walker and Megan Evans. The Vicar, Canon Dr Richard Kellett, led evensong and spoke about Jesus The Healer. Ruth Young, Janet Pursglove and Harry Hannam gave Bible readings. John Dunn was organist and Margaret Brunt and Sue Grindle were church stewards. Members of the Christian stitchcraft group met at the Scout Hut on Thursday week.
