Inner Wheel Club

At the Christmas party, member Veronica Malklowski made a ski slope Christmas Cake, which was raffled during the evening and won by Ilean Lumsdon. Ticket sales raised £112, which was donated to The Hall Homeless Support in Mansfield.

Unitarian Church

Morning Service at the Old Meeting House was led by the Rev Derek Smith. Pauline Smith gave readings from The Acts Of The Apostles in the New Testament and from the writings of J. Estlin Carpenter. Sunday School was led by Christine Wright. The choir sang ‘Joy To the World’ as their anthem. Organist and pianist was Bill Brown. Steward was Neil Fisher, who took the collection. Refreshments were served by Pat Cairns.

St Augustine’s Church

Reader Nigel Patten led morning prayer and preached. Sue and Ian Wilson gave readings, Roger Walton led the intercessions. Jane Carlin took the offertory. Angela Walton and Jane Carlin served refreshments after the service.
