Methodist Church

Irene Spencer led the morning service at the church on Sunday. There were readings from Margaret Berry, Margaret Tait and Geoff Platt. Visitors from other local Methodist joined those from Farnsfield for their evening section service. This was taken by the Rev David Greenwood and music for the service was played by Enid Marsh.

Tuesday fellowship

The Fellowship group met on Tuesday week at St Michael’s, Farnsfield with the Rev Richard Seymour-Whitely taking the meeting and speaking on the subject of Icons.

Friendship Club

Jenny Frost organised a trip for 46 members and friends on Friday week. The group enjoyed a shopping and sightseeing trip to Chester. The clubs next meeting is on Friday August 31st at the village centre, 2pm, and will include a talk with slides on the ‘Jersey Royal Gardens’ by Stuart Dixon.
