Held it’s Annual Summer Show recently in the Cator Hall. Results are as follows: Most points in show was J. Bailey, Runner up. F Cooper, Most points in Vegetable section J Bailey. Fruit flowers and produce section A Norman. Home section. S. Otterwell. Longest runner bean. M. Berryman. Heaviest pumpkin. J.Bailey. Heaviest onion. T White. One vegetable and one flower. J Bailey. Best vegetable T White. 3 Best roses. P Dobbs. Best single bloom. M. Stokes. Flower arrangement Theme Diamond Jubilee. D Martin. Flower arrangement Olympic rings. M Coleman. Most outstanding exhibit. D Martin. Best in Art section J Bartle.

ST ANDREW’S Church

Holy Communion Sunday week was led by the Vicar Rev’d Richard Seymour-Whiteley who led the prayers and preached. Readings were by Margaret Coupland and Michael Beaumont. Organist was John White. Refreshments were served afterwards by Sue Wilson and Malcolm Goodall.
