FIREFIGHTERS were called to a chip pan fire in Warsop last night, Saturday 20th April.
The crews from Warsop and Edwinstowe attended the fire on Robin Hood Avenue just after 8pm.
They used a hose reel and breathing apparatus to bring it under control in a matter of minutes. Only slight damage was caused although the building was heavily smoke logged.
A young couple were evacuated from the house and neither were injuried.
A pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the smoke before the firefighter left the property.
