A CHARITY football match is taking place on Sunday (23rd) for a Clipstone Welfare player who has been diagnosed with testicular cancer.

A CHARITY football match is taking place on Sunday for a Clipstone Welfare player who has been diagnosed with testicular cancer.

Lance Mulligan (27), who played a couple of times for Mansfield Town under Keith Curle, has recently undergone surgery and will begin chemotherapy soon.

The fundraising match at Clipstone’s Lido ground kicks off at 1pm with a raffle afterwards.

Money will be raised through player subs, admission, raffle ticket sales and refreshments.
