The president of Sutton-in-Ashfield Rotary Club, Rotarian Jon Bates, presents a cheque for £500 to Dawn Osko Steer MBE, the regional fundraising manager for the charity Cystic Fibrosis.

Dawn thanked the club for the gift and stated that it would be spent in the Ashfield area.

Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited disease caused by a faulty gene which controls the movement of salt and water in and out of your cells. It means the lungs and digestive system become clogged with mucus, making it hard to breathe and digest food. There is a specialist CF centre at King’s Mill Hospital for children.
