Kings Mill Hospital MRI Scanner Appeal launch.

CHAD staff will be selling cakes and other treats at King’s Mill Hospital to raise funds for our MRI Scanner Appeal.

We will be joined by staff from the hospital as well as Ashfield MP Gloria De Piero to serve up cakes and buns baked by Chad and King’s Mill Hospital workers on 6th July between 10am and 1pm.

Chad teamed up with King’s Mill Hospital this week to launch the £750,000 fundraising appeal to help the medical facility purchase a new state-of-the-art MRI scanner.

Hospital bosses say the brand new scanner will revolutionise the service they offer and allow them to treat patients quicker, safer and allow them to diagnose illnesses at an earlier stage.

The new MRI scanner - a medical imaging technique used in radiology to visualize internal structures of the body in detail - is expected to be used over the next seven years to treat hundreds of thousands of patients across Mansfield and Ashfield.

And we are now urging kind-hearted folk around Mansfield and Ashfield to dig deep and play their part in making our appeal a massive success.

Donations to our MRI appeal can be made by visiting Chad receptions, calling the customer services department at King’s Mill Hospital on 01623 672222, by visiting Sherwood Forest Hospital’s NHS Trust website, through Just Giving or by cheque.

All cheques should be made payable to Sherwood Forest Hospitals Charitable Funds.
