TASTY treats will be on sale at King’s Mill Hospital next month to raise cash for Chad’s life-changing MRI scanner campaign.
Chad staff will join up with hospital volunteers to serve up a variety of homemade cakes and buns on 13th September from 10am.
So far more than £12,000 has been raised since Chad and King’s Mill Hospital teamed up in a bid to raise a massive £750,000 for a brand new scanner.
Hospital bosses say the state-of-the-art scanner will be able to treat hundreds of thousands of patients over the next seven years and offer a safer, faster and more detailed diagnosis.
It will be the second MRI cake bake sale held at the hospital after our first sale raised £215.57.
Donations to our MRI appeal can be made by visiting Chad receptions, calling the customer services department at King’s Mill Hospital on 01623 672222, by visiting Sherwood Forest Hospital’s NHS Trust website, through Just Giving or by cheque.
All cheques should be made payable to Sherwood Forest Hospitals Charitable Funds.
See the Chad website for all the latest news on the MRI Scanner Appeal.
