Cafe Ilachi’s winning dish

THIS week, our Chad Chefs video is brought to you by Chef Ripon Choudhury who owns Cafe Ilachi in Sutton.

Ripon, who is also known as Junior in the area, has cooked a dish his mother used to prepare: Desi Golda Chingri.

Ingredients:

3 large king prawns

1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

1 teaspoon of tomato paste

1 teaspoon of tumeric

1/4 teaspoon of cumin powder

1/4 teaspoon of coriander powder

1/4 teaspoon of Fenugreek

Chopped red and green pepper

2 chillis

Salt to taste

Garlic

Fresh ginger (chopped)

Fresh coriander (chopped)
