Sutton car firm AvailableCar set to expand
WELL-KNOWN car supermarket group AvailableCar has announced it is to expand its Sutton superstore - creating up to 15 new jobs
The firm has taken over the three acres and the 10,000 sqft building formerly belonging to neighbouring Oaktree Motor Homes at the site, off the A38.
And once the move is complete, AvailableCar will open an all-new state-of-the-art vehicle and preparation centre and paint-shop.
The expansion will also make way for an extra 250 vehicle displays, as well as the new jobs - which will take the employee total to nearly 100.
AvailableCar’s Sutton site is one of the largest in the country, with with more than 750 used cars in stock and more than 2,200 used cars online at any one time.
Said Paul Arscott, operations director: “To be able to enlarge our stock levels with a lot more choice and selection and have such fantastic vehicle preparation facilities on-site, will help us in our mission to make the customer experience even better.
“With the expansion we are looking to take on new team members to join our already successful team.”
