A South Normanton-based training and apprenticeship provider Positive Outcomes has received praise from national firm eFlorist for helping to strengthen the business for the future.
eFlorist, which creates and delivers floral arrangements to customers all over the world, has been working closely with Positive Outcomes to provide training for its staff, covering all areas of the business. Training has been provided in retail, customer service, team leading and management and leadership.
Positive Outcomes has helped to train 42 of eFlorist’s staff across 24 shops in England in the last five months and the firm has said how pleased it has been with the partnership.
Marketing manager at eFlorist Rachel Clinton said: “Positive Outcomes have provided a series of government funded NVQ training programmes, both to florists and to our in-house staff.
“I’m pleased to announce that 24 of our shops with 42 staff have taken up this opportunity along with 50 per cent of HQ staff.
“We’re very pleased with the training so far and can see a real benefit for our staff.”
The training has been designed to be very flexible and tailored around specific business needs, leading to an NVQ for each individual.
Chris Longmate, Chief executive of Positive Outcomes, said: “We are thrilled to be working with such a well-known brand as eFlorist.
“The partnership so far has been extremely beneficial to the company, seeing over 40 staff sign-ups for training in just a few months. The benefit of our training is that it can be applied to any industry, in eFlorist’s case, we can tailor retail and customer service awards to be relevant and applicable to individual job roles within floristry.
“Floristry is a growing industry and our training is helping to make sure that staff can keep up with demand, at the same time as supplying each individual with the skills to work their way up to management level, if they wish to go along that route, in their chosen trade.”
Positive Outcomes’ head office is at the Village Business Park by Junction 28 of the M1.
