Mansfield-based law firm, Shacklocks Solicitors & Investment Advisors, has converted to Limited Liability Partnership status.
The development also saw the firm roll out its new corporate identity as Shacklocks LLP.
The conversion to LLP is part of the firm’s development plan, devised by the partners and spearheaded by managing partner Marion Vesey, aiming to assist in the growth of the firm by adapting to the changing legal and financial industry.
Speaking about the move, Vesey said: “We have always been a modern and progressive firm and the conversion to LLP is part of a wider plan to ensure we are equipped to remain flexible at a time where the legal and financial services landscapes continue to change.
“Our values at Shacklocks have never changed; we take great pride in our reputation as experts in our field with a client focus at our heart.
“As a firm, we have been serving the local communities in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire for over 150 years; our clients will notice no change to the nature, extent or quality of the legal and financial services we provide.
“By converting to LLP, we will be able to continue attracting and retaining the best talent for years to come, whilst growing as an innovative and dynamic business.”
