North Midland Construction secure new £2.5m contracts

A THRIVING Huthwaite firm are looking to a bright future after securing three new contracts worth over £2.5million.

The Highways and Special Projects division of North Midland Construction (NMC), a civil engineering and building company based on Nunn Close, will be responsible for installing a drainage system for a housing development in Trowbridge in Wiltshire, working on a junction improvement project for Warrington Borough Council and doing repair work on a culvert (water channel) near Rawdon in Leeds.

Executive director of Special Projects Geoff Poyser said: “We’re delighted to have been awarded these three projects.

“We can draw on highways skills and experience to complete these varied projects.”

It is the latest in a series of new contracts for the company, which now has eight regional offices since forming in 1946.
