A NEW director described as ‘high-calibre’ with ‘extensive experience’ has been appointed at a leading training provider company.

Pieter Eksteen has joined the successful senior management team at Positive Outcomes, a leading South Normanton-based firm which specialises in securing Government-funded apprenticeships.

Chris Longmate, managing director, comments: “We have head hunted a strategic manager with extensive experience in the industry, who has proved his ability to operate effectively in this complex and competitive sector.

“This is the first time we have been successful in securing not only a strategic director with extensive experience, but one who has the competence to work at this level with the knowledge and understanding of our provision.

“Pieter joins Positive Outcomes from Pearson, another national training provider, and brings with him experience of leading a national sales team with a £70m contract – he is a massive addition.”

Pieter added: “I am looking forward to leading and managing a successful sales team, whilst making an immediate positive impact in the business by growing it substantially. I look forward to the new challenges that this will present to me, and to working with the rest of the management team to support Positive Outcomes’ growth.”

The company celebrated record figures this July, when 117 young people were placed into apprenticeship roles.

Its main offices at The Village Business Park now houses in excess of 100 staff with a vision to be UK’s leading training provider.
