Mansfield law firm Fidler & Pepper Solicitors has won a national accolade for developing a ‘ground-breaking’ technology solution that helps landlords to stay legal.
The firm won the Best Use of Technology category for its pioneering LetLegal online software at the LawNet Awards.
Managing partner, Mark Slade, created LetLegal to support landlords by helping them to keep their entire buy-to-let properties legal and up to date, and to ensure that they can monitor any rent arrears.
Said Mr Slade: “The whole firm is really proud to have developed and delivered a free, award-winning online service that is of real value to landlords.
“As lawyers, we know what busy landlords need to help them stay legal. Using our technology know-how and expertise, LetLegal was designed specifically for them.”
Entrants in the technology category were asked to demonstrate to the judges how their firm had effectively used business technology to create a significant competitive or operational advantage.
Describing LetLegal as ‘a real ground-breaker’, Lawnet chief executive John Thomas said: “This solution keeps Fidler & Pepper at the head of the game whilst building strong relationships with landlords who may need their services in future.”
LaetLegal also ensures that landlords are aware of the legal requirements to properly protect deposits, and advises why this is important.
Fidler & Pepper’s property specialists are on hand to support if a landlord encounters problems with a tenant, for example if there are rent arrears. Visit www.fidler.co.uk/letlegal for more details.
