Local Enterprise Organisation, LEO, has announced the launch of its new scheme designed to encourage local job seekers to consider self-employment as an option.
LEO Enterprise Clubs will provide a regular meeting place - offering a series of themed workshops, speakers and opportunities to chat with experts and like-minded people - for those who have considered creating their own jobs by starting out in business.
“The Enterprise Clubs will be ideal for anyone wanting to learn about running a business – or anyone wondering if self-employment would suit them and their lifestyle,” said Adrian Williamson, LEO Enterprise Coach in Hucknall.
Enterprise Clubs will soon roll out across the Ashfield, Bolsover and Mansfield districts, delivering advice and guidance around topics such as: ‘Finance’, ‘Marketing & Sales’ and ‘Is it for me?’
“I’d urge anyone who feels they have more to offer than the jobs currently available, to consider with us whether or not they could work for themselves.
“We are here to help arrive at either outcome – that’s what the Enterprise Clubs are all about,” added Adrian.
The first Enterprise Club in Hucknall will be held on Thursday 11th August from 10am – 12 noon at Under One Roof, 3a Vine Terrace, Hucknall – and weekly after that.
