Ex-Ram Savage waltzes into Slimming World

A HAIR stylist at Slimming World’s head offices in Somercotes received a visit from footballer turned ballroom dancing star Robbie Savage.

Victoria Hallam, who previously worked at Mark Leeson’s Mansfield salon, recently took up a new role as manager of Slimming World’s Hair and Beauty salon - and was welcomed by former Derby County player Robbie.

She said: “It’s been a very busy first few weeks but an exciting time too – especially when Robbie popped in.”

Robbie, who featured on the last series of BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing show, was visiting Slimming World’s head office to meet young slimmers aged from 15 to 21 at the organisation’s Young Slimmer of the Year 2012 semi-finals.

While there he visited the salon, which is based on site but open to the public, to meet Victoria, congratulate her on new role as well as pick up hair advice.
