A Mansfield pub is celebrating after picking up two awards from ale experts, CAMRA.
The Brown Cow on Ratcliffe Gate is celebrating after being named Mansfield and Ashfield CAMRA Pub of the Season Autumn 2014, as well as The David Brett Award for best pub serving Mild on the Mild Trail 2014.
Manager Nicola Thompson said: “We are very happy that our hard work has paid off and has been recognised. And we are over the moon that our customers think we deserve these two awards.
“We would also like to publicly thank everyone for their continued support.”.
Having re-opened for business in November last year, The Brown Cow is a join venture between Everards and Raw Brewing, and is part of Everards’ Project William initiative, to partner smaller brewers and ‘cask ale champions’ to breathe new life into closed or previously unsustainable pubs.
