College chief to speak at 2020 meeting

Long established business networking group, Mansfield 2020 represents the heart of the local business community and offers news, information and the opportunity to promote your business.

At the January breakfast meeting, Russell Jones, of Fidler & Pepper Solicitors, will provide a summary on legal guidance relating to ‘The TUPE’ regulations. ‘TUPE or not TUPE that is the question’, covers issues to be wary off when buying or selling a business.

Roger Neale, of Perkeo Computer Systems Ltd, will give a presentation entitled “De-mystifying the Cloud”. Perkeo Computer Systems has been providing a full range of IT solutions to local businesses since 1992.

With the continuing rapid changes in modern day IT and the confusion and concerns this may cause to businesses, Roger’s talk aims to offer clarity and simple IT solutions.

“A Renewed Focus on Enterprise, Employability & Business Partnership” is the inspiring talk offered by Vision West Notts Principal, Asha Khemka OBE. Asha will present the college’s renewed business strategy with a clear focus on supporting local enterprise, employability and business partnerships”.

Sponsor of the January meeting is Vision Apprentices. Vision Apprentices offer an innovative approach to apprenticeships, hiring out apprentices to organisations who need keen employees undertaking specialist training in specific industries.

Director, Sandra Cowley said: “We specialise in training apprentices for all sectors, using state-of-the-art facilities and resources and tutors who have expertise in their field”. Representatives will be available at the meeting to answer any questions.
