NOMINEES for Chad’s Business Awards have been judged by a panel of experts looking to reward the area’s best companies and entrepreneurs.
Judging took place on Friday when nominees made 10-minute presentations on why they should win an award within their category.
The judges were Four Seasons Shopping Centre manager Rebekah O’Neill, Jon Hodgkinson from RBS, Portland College principal Mark Dale and Foysal Choudhray, owner of the Mint Indian restaurant and Chow Oriental.
Rebekah said: “Judging the awards this year was a really positive and refreshing experience.
“It was particularly exciting to hear about the brilliant new businesses operating successfully within our area – a real eye opener!”
There are some top prizes up for grabs again at the awards, ranging from Business Idea of the Year and Young Business Person of the Year to Community Contribution of the Year and Most Innovative Property/Building Development.
The Chad Business Awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 22nd November with a glittering event at the John Fretwell Sporting Complex at Sookholme.
The black tie event will see guests enjoy a champagne reception, four-course meal and ceremony.
