BROADBAND connection speeds in Bolsover and Shirebrook are to be improved after the £15m ‘Digital Derbyshire’ programme was backed by the Government.

The Derbyshire County Council scheme aims to improve speeds to more than 24Mbps across 90 per cent of the county by 2015.

It will benefit 23,036 homes and businesses in the Bolsover area and to see the plan visit www.derbyshire.gov.uk/broadband
