A public exhibition is being held on Wednesday 2nd November for members of the public to discuss the preliminary redevelopment proposals for the Sherwood Lodge site in Bolsover.
Chad reported last week that Bolsover District Council had chosen Morrisons as the preferred developer for the multi-million pound scheme. The first public exhibition next Wednesday is from 10.30am-7pm at Sherwood Lodge in Bolsover.
The exhibition will only include basic information about the proposals at this stage and will also include what the Council is planning to do in the future with regard future Council offices.
The proposed scheme envisages a medium-sized store with petrol filling station and associated car parking together with the provision of new Council office accommodation and dedicated car parking, which could include a Council Contact Centre, meeting/conference facilities and a Police station.
More detailed plans, that will be the subject of a second public consultation in the New Year, are currently being developed.
