AN award-winning industrial supplies company has moved into new premises in Mansfield to help meet a growing demand.

Hall-Fast has re-located from Boughton to a larger building on Anglia Way due to the growth in revenue from local and export trade.

Bosses say the move will help them to be closer to a larger community of businesses and make it easier for trade customers to buy their range of more than 48,000 products, which include tools, office furniture, personal protection equipment and abrasives.

Hall-Fast’s new premises, which boasts 5,500sqft of office and warehouse space, also includes a new and extended trade counter area displaying products from brands such as Britool, Snickers, Dickies, Karcher, Dewait and Duracell.

The total purchase and refit costs of the new building was more than £270,000 and was finalised with the help of a regional growth fund grant arrangement by NatWest.

Hall-Fast was founded in 2006 by Mr Hall and now has a turnover of £1.5m.

Managing director Malcolm Hall said serving the local business community was a key factor to the firm’s future success. He said: “We wanted to reach a much wider audience of trade customers and are proud of our reputation for greater customer service, no minimum orders, and competitive pricing.”
