Ashfield Council backs Energy Saving Week
Ashfield District Council is again supporting the 16th Annual Energy Saving Week from the Energy Saving Trust, helping you make small changes to get BIG savings!
There will be an information display in the Kirkby Reception all week, full of useful energy saving tip, ideas and games for kids.
Energy Advisors are available to chat to every morning and can advise you on the key elements to save money on utility bills, such as checking tariffs and payment methods to get discounts, switching suppliers for big savings, and insulating your home to keep the heat in and the bills lower.
There’s also a daily chance to win an energy saving goody bag with a free prize draw! Entries are available on the stand so just fill one in including your own energy saving tips, and pop it in the box. A name will be drawn at random each day and their Top Tip displayed in Reception.
Ashfield District Council is also working in conjunction with Nottinghamshire County Council again this year to support the Keep Warm scheme which offers advice and home visits from an Advisor to help you stay warm, and stay safe this Winter. Pick up a free leaflet and thermometer from Reception to find out more.
