Bolsover District Council is encouraging people to get into the swing this summer as they launch weekly Back to Rounders sessions in Clowne.
On Wednesday, August 7, Back to Rounders sessions will start on the sports field at the back of Clowne Sports Centre on High Street.
Sessions will take place every Wednesday, from 6.30-7.30pm, for males and females, aged 14, and above. And whats more sessions are free.
The aim of the new sessions is to encourage individuals to get back into sport as well as providing an opportunity for people to try the sport for the first time.
Rounders is a great social sport and people are invited to come along with their friends, work colleagues or family members.
Funding for the sessions has been obtained through Rounders England, with the aim of increasing the number of individuals participating in rounders.

The council stages a number of other Back2Sport sessions including basketball and netball with hockey sessions set to commence in Bolsover during September.
