A Blidworth man fears he will lose his job after being convicted for drink driving.

Thomas Neil Vaughan, of The Crescent, Blidworth, was banned from driving by Mansfield Magistrates today.

The Vaughandale Construction site foreman was fined £210 for having 58 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

Vaughan was driving home from a night out with friends along Mansfield Road on 26th July when a police officer stopped him after seeing him veer across the road.

Miss Reece, representing Vaughan, said without his licence Vaughan may lose his job since driving forms a large part of his role.

Vaughan will undergo a driving course. He will also pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
