FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze at a derelict village pub late last night, Monday 8th April.
Fire crews from Bolsover and Chesterfield were called to the old King of Diamonds pub on Langwith Road, Langwith, at 11.32pm.
The ground floor was found to be on fire and hose reels and breathing apparatus were used to bring it under control.
The police were called and an unsuccessful attempt was made to contact the owners.
The pub was then boarded up and the firecrews left shortly after 1am.
