Firefighters from Shirebrook were called out to the town centre in the early hours of this morning, Monday 22nd September, after reports of a bin fire.

They got the call at 5.16am to Market Place where they found two large industrial recycling bins well alight.

They used a main jet to extinguish the flames.

They left the scene at 6.10am.

Only hours before, at 10.44pm on Sunday night, they had been called out to Langwith where they found a small quantity of rubbish on fire on open ground.
